Welcome to the Marketing Miscellanea!

First, I want to introduce myself: Hi, my name is Avalon, I'm what I like to call a Marketing Strategist – aka a freelance consultant who comes in like your fairy godmother to help you and your business with all things marketing and copywriting.

I'll give you a bit of background. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, emphasizing in Public Relations, from California Polytechnic State University (I know, it's a mouth full.) Since graduating, I have pursued both full-time work and freelance gigs to develop a very diverse toolbelt when it comes to marketing. Working on everything from copywriting Instagram captions, to website development, to brand building, to asset designing, I am a jack of all trades ready to help your company get to the next level with your marketing and branding!

I have decided to make this blog into a resource for those interested in building a brand or developing some simple marketing but who may not have the budget to hire out these services. I will be posting tips and tricks for ways that you can easily elevate your brand on your own.

In addition to this helpful and productive content, I will also be posting whatever else I feel like including on this blog – I want to create a space of creative freedom and professional development, so that may be more than just tips and tricks for marketing.
